Spend some time on the water at Lake Graham, the nearby Tennessee River, or Pickwick Lake or attend a special event such as Casey Jones Day or the Shannon Street Blues and Heritage Festival.
Take a leisurely stroll on the boardwalk at Cypress Grove Nature Park, or one of Jackson’s other beautiful parks, visit a Civil War battlefield, or hit the links on one of Jackson’s challenging golf courses.
Jackson is also home to the West TN Diamond Jaxx, the AA Affiliate of the Seattle Mariners. Enjoy home games and fireworks from April – September at Pringles Park.

Chickasaw State Park Riding Stables & Wrangler Campground

Open March through Thanksgiving weekend, the guided trail takes approximately one hour to complete. The fee for horseback riding is $15 plus tax per person. Children under 9 not allowed to ride.
Located near the stables, the Wrangler Campground is designed to meet the needs of the park visitors traveling with horses. Many visitors bring their own horses to Chickasaw to take advantage of the approximately 100 miles of trails in Chickasaw State Forest.

Chickasaw State Park features three campgrounds. The RV campground has 52 sites, each with water and electrical hookups. The tent campground has 29 sites, and water is available. The wrangler campground is designed for visitors traveling with horses. There are 32 sites, each with water and electrical hookups. All park campsites have picnic tables and grills. Modern bathhouses provide hot showers and restroom facilities. There is a playground in each campground.
Chickasaw State Park also has 13 vacation cottages available for rent.

Natchez Trace State Park offers a 47-unit lodge with single, double and suite accommodations, 17 cabins and 10 villas fully equipped for housekeeping, a group lodge, 208 campsites and 5 air conditioned camping cabins. Backcountry camping and wrangler camping are also available.

The beautiful wooded campground provides 48 sites, each equipped with a table, a grill and electrical and water hook-up. Bathhouse and dump station are centrally located. Open year round. All campsites are available on a first come-first serve basis.
Bruton Branch Recreation Area – A primitive campground and picnic area is located on the north side of Pickwick Lake just off Highway 128. There are 43 sites located in this area with some sites located on the lake. A bathhouse, playground and boat ramp is available. Open April – October.
